Laura McDaniel, M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP
Laura is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing for 6 years working in the pediatric outpatient setting, as well as providing home-based services.

She has considerable experience in pediatric speech therapy and specializes in treatment of early language disorders (EI), expressive / receptive language disorders, and speech sound disorders, with special interests in Gestalt Language Processing / Natural Language Acquisition and Augmentative-Alternative Communication (AAC). With a passion for helping children reach their full potential, Laura employs an individualized approach in order to cater to each child's unique needs.

Laura created Southport Speech and Language because she is committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for therapy, ensuring that each child receives personalized care that meets their unique needs and abilities, and to help parents feel empowered to support their child's speech and language skills.
