Communication is an essential part of everyday life -- so when your child is struggling to communicate their wants, needs, or feelings, this impacts more than just the child.
​My passion lies in helping children meet their communication needs in order to foster more independence and increase quality of life. My practice prioritizes exceptional, individualized patient care with a strong belief that collaboration with the family, and other therapy and medical professionals, is essential to a child's success.

Individual Therapy Sessions
Whether in the comfort of your own home, or within our clinic setting, our speech therapy sessions will always be 1-on-1, one child, one therapist, and of course parent involvement! Building a relationship based on trust and true connection with a child is one of the most important parts of the therapy process!

Our therapy is tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, focusing on fostering a supportive and engaging environment to promote language development, speech production, and overall communication skills.

Individual therapy sessions ensure that your child gets 100% of the time and attention they deserve to work on goals that are most important to the family. It is our priority to help improve a child's skills to add functionality into everyday life.
Our Philosophy for Therapy
At Southport Speech, we believe and support that children learn best through child-led play, and when a child is regulated. Using a child's special interests and favorite activities helps build a genuine connection and practice functional skills, all while having fun!

You don't need the newest, fanciest toys or have to buy tons of materials for home to see progress with your child. We believe YOU, the parent, are the most powerful resource a child could have access to & we are here to guide and empower you along the way!

We believe in using neurodiversity affirming practices and honoring all forms of communication. There are many avenues that a child can choose to communicate (verbal, sign language, AAC, gestures, etc.), with one not being held higher than another. ​​
Getting Started

FREE CONSULTATION
Southport Speech is committed to providing outstanding services to cater to a child's specific needs. To ensure that we are a good match for your child and family, we offer a free phone consultation to discuss concerns and determine the best course of action!

REQUEST A REFERRAL
If you plan on using insurance, we will need a referral for Speech Therapy from your pediatrician. Please have them fax the referral to us at 910-946-6212.
If you have an insurance currently not accepted, super bills can be provided for claim submission.

COMPLETE FORMS
After your consultation, a secure link to the patient portal will be emailed for some preliminary paperwork can be completed online. This will include an intake form to gather more information about your child prior to the evaluation.
